Black Beauty: Live at the Fillmore West

''Black Beauty: Miles Davis at Fillmore West'' is a live album by American jazz recording artist Miles Davis, recorded on April 10, 1970, at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, when Davis opened for the Grateful Dead〔()〕
The album was first released in 1973 on vinyl LP in Japan,〔
〕 and reissued in 1986 on a double-CD format in Japan (50DP 710/711) and then reissued yet again as a 2CD digipak in the US in 1997. Until 2001 with the release of ''Live at the Fillmore East, March 7, 1970: It's About that Time,'' it was the only commercially available live Miles Davis performances of complete compositions between 1965 (''Live at the Plugged Nickel'') and late 1970 (''Live-Evil'').
